Weary soul.
Saturday, 12 April 2014 00:00

Been busy with studies but somehow I don't think it is enough to keep all these thoughts away.
Can't help but to long to feel nothing at all.
I mean, life would be so much easier without feelings right?
Too tired to feel. Too tired to think. Too tired to go on.
I'm actually surprised at how sane I act around others and how insane when I act when I'm alone.
But I need to stop with the self-pitying shit cause everyone's having battles of their own and mine can't compare shit towards theirs.

Suck it up. It's life. Quote of the day. :)

Central Japan [2]

Day 4

The resort has a amazing zen garden omg. Totally love how it felt so traditional even though other buildings surrounding it weren't.

The breathtaking view and yes, that's Mt Fuji. It looks best in winter!

Went to Kenrokuen Garden and yes this whole garden belongs to some guy and you see those pointy little things on the trees? Apparently it is used to support the shape of the tree and it also serves as a memory for that guy. This place is hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I probably thought this guy had nothing better to do or had too much money to spend.

Reached the Shirakawago Village high up in the mountains and believe me, it was freezing. I can't believe how I managed to survive in the cold in Hokkaido for a week 2 years back. Central Japan hardly snows cause the temperature isn't low enough the only snow you see is probably only high up in the mountains.

(Hello I'm Mr. Snowmen and idk if I'm already crushed.)

Had buffet for dinner!! We got a platter of sashimi and can you believe that this is considered the small serving?? There's even a large serving of this. But you can never taste such fresh sashimi in Singapore

Time for another onsen bath! Love the colour of the yukata for this hotel!

Day 5

Amazing view of Mt Fuji at our dining area in the morning!

Got fruits from a nearby "market" technically it's not a market since they are more of street tents and they are located in one place. This obaa-san was really nice as to let us try the fruits and gave us a discount hehehe. So we kinda wanted to take a photo with her. (But to be honest, the grapes were super sour wtf. It's like eating lemon okay. Y u do dis obaa-san T_T)

Say hi to wasabi plants ~~

Risked my fingers just to snap this picture LOLLOL. Immediately threw it after I got my picture.

Got a glimpse of this roller coaster as I was passing by. One of the world's scariest roller coasters. Not sure if you can see it clearly in the top picture but yes it has 3 long waves okay LOL. The whole ride may take up to 3 minutes. Remind me not to ride this unless I feel like dying.

Idk why but this toilet gives me the whole in-flight toilet feel LOL.

Day 6

Great view from our dining area!

Got to witness a traditional wedding held near where we went! So lucky!

Next stop Tokyo Disneysea! Decided to experience Disneysea instead of Disneyland for a change and one thing I should advise NEVER EVER GO TO TOKYO DISNEYLAND OR SEA NEAR CHRISTMAS OR THE NEW YEAR UNLESS YOU WANNA SUFFOCATE IN A SWARM OF PEOPLE. You have to at least (yes bolded) queue for a ride for 2 hours. Not joking here.

Didn't get one of the best views for the parade cause we didn't went to book a seat early enough. And what I mean by early enough? At least 1 and a half hour before the parade starts or maybe even earlier. That is how crazy it is.

Arrived at Tokyo Dome Hotel! This is one of the best hotels I've been to omg. Even though the biggest disadvantage is having no Wi-Fi in the room... but the interior and the view is to die for.

How many mes ~

Got my Duffy and Shellie May! Loving the outfits on them as well. Oh yeah, the people in Japan are mad over Duffy products so whichever store selling Duffys? Look for the ones with people over flooding inside of them. Most likely you got the right shop cause it's mad crowded and you literally have to squeeze.

Explored the amusement park near our hotel and it's so sad to see that very few people are going for such small-scaled amusement parks anymore and the employees freezing their ass off in just trying to get a few people to ride. ): Hopefully it won't be demolished the next time I'm there.

And this marks the end of my trip to Central Japan! I'm already looking forward to the next time I get to go once again. ^-^  ではまたね!
