AFA Festival 2013
Sunday 17 November 2013 20:44

Impromptu decision to accompany my sis to the AFA festival held in Suntec exhibition last Sunday. Despite all my years of watching animes though I'm not a hardcore fan of them it was my first time heading for this event. Fell in love with the cosplays and merchandises at first sight.

Didn't bother taking any selfies cause I was too absorbed with everything else LOL. And I wanted to shoot myself for not bothering to bring my camera or DSLR. *pulls hair*
Entering the exhibition hall, this gigantic gundam looking like robot greeted us. こんにちわ ~

(Yes I added so much filter to this picture that it looks so bright and shiny LOL)

(Featuring one of my favourite animes ^_^)

(Can you believe these are actually hairpins?! *gasp*)

I really salute people who actually have the guts to cosplay in front of thousands of people. Not to mention their love for animes and the various characters too. People actually spend thousands just for these costumes yknow.

(Still confused if the guy on the right is a guy........)

Since we were there, decided to enter the AFA Cafe which would normally be known as the maid/butler cafe in this case it had both. It was awkward entering the place having everyone greeting you but the butler who served us was really great and polite as well! Not sure if they were paid to do so but whatever LOL. One of my goals when I'm in Japan this December is to enter a maid cafe for the experience!

Managed to get a few merchandises for myself cause there wasn't much to get since the event was coming to the end. Overall, a refreshing experience and will be looking forward to it next year! ^.^

Is it alright?

Is it alright to think of everyone as a pretence?
To be unable to trust anyone cause the things they say and do are the complete opposites.
"I'll stay." That's what they all claim.
But when times up, they walk away as quickly as they came.
Without remembering what they said and promised for they were words said on impulse.
Is it alright for everyone to just walk out that easily?
